Tainted Beef Traced to NY Plant

A ground beef processing plant, which allegedly stopped testing ingredients from its beef suppliers years ago, is thought to be the source of meat that has killed two people and sickened another 500. AFA Foods in Ashville, NY has defended its production methods saying they meet with the "best practices" established by the beef industry.
