Target Kicks Off Black Friday Sales Earlier Than Ever Before

Target is starting its Black Friday sales earlier than ever before, giving holiday shoppers a chance to get a jump start on some of the best deals promoted by the beloved retailer.

Target’s Early Black Friday Sale is a three-day holiday deals event. It begins Thursday, Nov. 7, and runs through Nov. 9, according to a company press release.

Shoppers are ensured the best deal at Target with the retailer’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee. If an item’s price drops at Target later in the season, the retailer will match the lower price between Thursday, Nov. 7, and Tuesday, Dec. 24. Additionally, Target will honor price matches with select competitors within 14 days of purchase. The store’s traditional Black Friday sales begin online on Thursday, Nov. 28, and in stores on Friday, Nov. 29.

The retailer is kicking off savings for customers with its Deal of the Day specials starting Friday, Nov. 1. Each day through Dec. 24, there’s a new deal for members of Target Circle’s free loyalty program.

Starting on Sunday, Nov. 3, Target has weekly deals, running through the holiday season. The first week of deals (Nov. 3-Nov. 9) includes up to 50% off floorcare and headphones, plus up to 30% off baby gear and select home decor as well as buy one, get one 50% off toys including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Rick Gomez, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Target, explained the company’s vision for the holiday shopping season in the press release. “We know consumers have a lot of choices when it comes to holiday shopping, so we’re leaning into what Target does better than anyone — great products, great prices, and a shopping experience that’s easy and fun,” he said. “With amazing deals all season, early Black Friday offers, exclusive deals for Target Circle members, an assortment full of exclusive-to-Target gift options for everyone on your list, and our industry-leading Holiday Price Match Guarantee, our team is kicking off the holidays in a way only Target can.”

Holiday shoppers can get their purchases the same day with free Drive Up and Order Pickup or have them delivered to their doorstep with unlimited same-day delivery on orders over $35, a benefit of Target Circle 360, Target’s paid membership. Target also offers free returns on most new, unopened items within 90 days of purchase.
