Target Adds Exclusive Bogg Tote Bags to Its Lineup of Must-Have Holiday Items

November 26, 2024

Target has added an exclusive line of Bogg tote bags to its lineup of must-have holiday items.

The bags and accessories brand has launched a limited-edition and exclusive Bullseye tote and two additional colors to Target: Beach Hydrangea, which is also exclusive, and For Shore WHITE, according to a press release. The price for these collaborations? The Original style will set shoppers back between $90 and $100, and The Bitty costs around $60.

Kim Vaccarella, CEO and founder of Bogg, explained, “Bogg has become a viral sensation over the years and landing a partnership with an iconic company like Target is a testament to our growth.”

“The partnership perfectly aligns with Bogg’s mission of delivering fashionable, functional bags for every lifestyle. Launching a Bullseye bag is truly a dream come true and I can’t wait to see shoppers using it on their weekly Target hauls!” she added.

Bogg Expects To Sell Over 75K Target Bags Within 2 Months of Release

Inc. reported that Bogg expects to sell over 75,000 bags within two months of its Target release. The bags will hit shelves beginning in December 2024 and should be available at the retailer’s 1,900+ locations.

The Bogg Bag should be available in three colors, including a red version stamped with the Target logo. “It’s a big deal to go into Target, and of course — it’s a lot of people’s dream,” said founder Vaccarella, who initially came up with the designs for the plastic, Croc-like totes over a decade ago. She added that the retailer was “hot and heavy for a while. We kind of slow-played it a little bit.”

According to Inc., Bogg Bags have typically been sold in local boutiques, surf shops, and family-owned department stores. The publication claims that around 2,200 of the stores currently selling the brand are independent retailers.

Therefore, there was a concern about selling in a major chain like this, and the fear of pulling sales away from those independent retailers. However, Vaccarella has ensured that this will not be the case.

She’s selling specific colors and designs in local boutiques that will not be made available for purchase in Target stores. The big-box store will have designs specific to the Bullseye brand.

Bogg is a collection of unique, colorful, and customizable bags and accessories. The brand was founded in 2008 with the mission to provide a bag that is both functional and fashionable.

Bogg Bags will be available for purchase at Target beginning Dec. 8.
