Target opening new small store concept in downtown Pittsburgh

The site in downtown Pittsburgh where Kaufmann’s, a local institution later acquired by Macy’s, operated its department store, has been closed since 2015. That is about to change, at least in part, as Target opens one of its small format stores in a portion of the 1.2 million square-foot building.
