Temporary workers help fill labor shortfalls

Food processors and supermarkets are turning to short-term staff to help address labor shortages tied to the Omicron variant. Associated Wholesale Grocers hired hundreds of temp workers to help staff its 11 distribution centers after a record number of employees called out sick.
