Tesco temporarily shut down production at a factory in China following allegations that forced labor was being used to pack Christmas cards and gift tags for the retailer. As reported by The Sunday Times, a girl in South London opened a box of the cards and found a note scrawled one one reading, "We are foreign prisoners in Shanghai Qingpu prison China. Forced to work against our will. Please help us and notify human rights organisation."
