Tesla opens show-but-not-sell showroom in Michigan Nordstrom

Michigan has a two-year old statute on the books banning direct-to-consumer sales of automobiles, so while customers will be able to check out a new white Model X Tesla SUV in a gallery showroom set up within a Troy Nordstrom, they'll have to place their order on the Tesla website or travel to a Tesla showroom in a bordering state to make a purchase.
