Texas House Passes Bill Defining 'Physical Presence' for Sales Tax

A bipartisan majority of representatives in the Texas House approved a measure that makes clearer what companies are responsible for collecting sales tax on online purchases. There is not yet a sponsor of the bill in the state's Senate.
