Texas Retailers Take Heat Over Wage Discrimination Bill

Texas Gov. Rick Perry unexpectedly vetoed proposed wage discrimination legislation in June even though it had backing from both Democrats and Republicans. According to a Houston Chronicle report, Kroger, Macy's and three other members of the Texas Retailers Association lobbied the governor to reject the bill.
