The Andersons to shutter all retail operations

The Andersons Inc. announced that the diversified company has made the decision to close all its retail stores, two of which are in Central Ohio and two in the Toledo area. The loss of the 65 year-old operations will put about 1,050 workers out of their jobs. The Toledo-based Andersons company will continue with its other operations involving grain, ethanol, plant nutrients and rail.
