Ryan Reynolds Adds Star Power to Tim Hortons’ Breakfast Menu

May 5, 2025

“Deadpool” star Ryan Reynolds has partnered with Tim Hortons for a new breakfast experience.

Per a press release, Reynolds and Tim Hortons have collaborated on a multi-campaign partnership, bringing exciting new menu innovation to guests. The eatery recently debuted Ryan’s Scrambled Eggs Loaded Breakfast at participating restaurants in the United States and Canada.

In a new commercial promoting the collaboration, the actor is presented with his breakfast order and Tim Hortons coffee by his assistant. The actor is also handed a jar of fresh air from his Vancouver hometown, a newspaper with all the “burns redacted,” a left-handed cane, and a jigsaw with one piece left to complete.

In the ad, the assistant added that he provided the eatery with Reynolds’ “very specific recipe” so the actor could “go get them” himself any time he wanted. The recipe includes two freshly cracked eggs, crispy hashbrowns, a choice of sausage crumble or bacon strips, plus Tim Hortons’ iconic chipotle sauce. “From my rider to Tim’s menu,” the commercial concludes.

“There’s something really special about having the chance to collaborate with such an iconic and beloved Canadian brand. When I visited the Tim Hortons Test Kitchen, I took my role very seriously, by which I mean I ate an irresponsible amount of eggs. And honestly? I regret nothing,” said Reynolds.

“Ryan has been a great partner and so enthusiastic about leaning into his own love of the Tim Hortons brand as we worked on how to bring this really fun collab to life,” said Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer for Tim Hortons. “We’re proud to be a daily breakfast and coffee destination for so many of our guests, and this partnership with Ryan is another way for us to offer a uniquely Tim Hortons morning meal that kickstarts your day with great taste and great value.”

The Reynolds’ partnership focuses on its strongest part of the restaurant’s day: breakfast.

Per The Canadian Press, Tim Hortons would not disclose how much Reynolds was paid for the promotional ad made by Reynolds’s production company, Maximum Effort. However, Bagozzi did share, “It’s worth every dollar, every bit of Vancouver air.”

Previously, Reynolds narrated an Air Canada ad and fundraised for Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and the Terry Fox Foundation, and he continues to star in marketing for Mint Mobile, a telecom he used to own.
