Traces of Flame Retardants Found In Foods

Traces of chemicals found in flame retardants, polybrominated diphenyl ethers or PBDEs, were found in food products sold in grocery stores according to an article in the journal Environmental Science & Technology. The amounts found are not presently considered to represent a risk to humans that consume them.
