Trader Joe’s Beloved Advent Calenders Return: 24 Days of Chocolate for Under $2
November 7, 2024
Trader Joe’s Advent Calendars have returned. These sweet treats help count down the days until Christmas, and they’re a steal at just $1.29.
Trader Joe’s website features various advent calendar themes for customers to pick from, and Allrecipes reported that its team had spotted six covers so far.
According to Spoon University, Trader Joe’s released “seven chocolate-filled variations” in 2023 and 10 in 2022. Last year, the covers included “Over the River & Through the Woods,” “The T’Jays,” “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Your Neighborhood Store,” “The Christmas Tree Farm,” “The 24 Days ‘Til Christmas,” and “Santa’s Reindeer.”
The best part about Trader Joe’s Advent Calendars? Twenty-four days of chocolate for under $2.
The Trader Joe’s website states, “We’ve sold Chocolate Advent Calendars since at least the 1990’s. Each year, you’ll find a number of new whimsical, wintry designs (designed by our very own, very talented package designers, by the way), and each one offers 24 ready-to-be-opened windows that house 24 ready-to-be-eaten chocolates. And this isn’t throwaway chocolate here, folks! The seasonally-shaped milk chocolates in our Chocolate Advent Calendars are made with a generous amount of melt-in-your-mouth cocoa butter.”
Trader Joe’s Also Sells Advent Calenders for Cats, Dogs, and Those Who Love Beauty Products
The Trader Joe’s Advent Calender for Cats retails for $7.99. Behind each window is a pouch holding a soft, grain-free treat. The treats come in a few different shapes and flavors. The calendar is the same for dogs, except each window holds a treat tailored to them.
There’s also a beauty calendar. It’s called “12 Days of Beauty.” At $19.99, this gift is a wonderful way to try the store’s most popular products without breaking the bank.
The beauty calendar currently listed on the website seems to show the 2023 version, but this year’s version is already spreading around online. This Reddit user shared an image of the box, which lists all the items inside on the back.
The contents of the 12 Days of Beauty box are free of parabens and sulfates and were never tested on animals.
