Truckers not picking up cargo at Long Beach's 24-hour ports

A Port of Long Beach 24-hour pilot program designed to reduce congestion at its terminals has gone unused as trucking firms claim that restrictive elements of the program combined with a shortage of truck chassis for transporting sea containers has kept them from participating.
