True Religion Debuts Rewards Program for Holiday Season

November 27, 2024

True Religion has brought back its rewards program just in time for the holiday season. The program allows customers to receive discounts and promotions for reaching different purchase tiers.

According to the True Rewards website, joining is free. All members receive one point for every $1 spent. Members also receive a birthday surprise.

True Religion shoppers who spend upwards of $200 or more will move to the next tier, gaining the ability to participate in “earn big” events, exclusive member sales, and early access to sales and exclusive drops. Dedicated shoppers who spend over $500 a year get the most bang for their buck. These customers receive not only the perks mentioned above but also front-row access to new collaborations and product launches, exclusive icon-only sales, and exclusive access to IRL events.

Retail Dive reports there is also a secret, fourth tier for those shoppers who are most loyal. “True Rewards allows us to gain deeper insights into our consumers’ shopping preferences to enable greater personalization and ultimately increase customer lifetime value,” Michael Buckley, CEO of True Religion, said in a statement to Retail Dive. “This enhanced program rewards purchases both in-store and online to provide us with a more robust omnichannel view of our customers.”

Other ways to earn points include creating a profile, writing a review, attaching photos to the same review, joining the company’s email list, downloading True Religion’s app, following the company on Instagram, and opting in for text messaging.

True Religion’s Rewards Program Is Yet Another Way the Company Is Partnering With Shoppers

In August, True Religion launched a new content-creator platform named Team True. This new program is comprised of individuals from the worlds of sports, music, film, fashion, and more who have authentic and deep connections to the True Religion brand and its millions of consumers.

Per a press release, Kristen D’Arcy, chief marketing officer of True Religion, said, “Team True exists as a community of cultural icons and content creators who ‘truly’ resonate with our core consumers. They are enthusiastic friends of our brand whom we’ve brought onboard not simply to outfit, but, more importantly, to hear their ideas and incorporate them. We’ve gotten some incredible insights on everything from potential collaborations to philanthropic opportunities.”

Members of Team True include Meghan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, Chief Keef, and the Hoop Bus. Others who are part of the collaboration include India Love, Zay Wilson, Ashly Hendrick, and Kenyon Dixon, to name a few.

The company’s turnaround follows a second bankruptcy in 2020. True Religion was able to move out of the filing via a court-approved plan of reorganization under new ownership.
