Tyson looking to outbid Pilgrim's Pride for Hillshire Brands

Tyson Foods, which earlier this month bid $4.2 billion for Pinnacle Foods, has offered $6.8 billion to acquire the maker of Jimmy Dean sausages and Ballpark Franks. Pilgrim's Pride previously bid $6.4 billion to acquire Hillshire Brands.
