U.S. imports have made Mexico the biggest exporter of beer in the world

The U.S. is the biggest beer importer globally and 80 percent of the foreign beers coming into the country are from Mexico. That nation is now the world's largest exporter, shipping more than twice what any other country is doing. Mexico accounts for 30 percent of exports followed by the Netherlands (14 percent), Belgium (13 percent) and Germany (nine percent).
