Uber president quits over controversial management culture

Jeff Jones, the ride-sharing giant’s second in command, will leave the company after less than a year saying that the “beliefs and approach to leadership that have guided my career are inconsistent with what I saw and experienced at Uber.” Mr. Jones was hired away from Target where he held the CMO position. Uber has during his tenure suffered protests from disgruntled drivers and charges of sexism and sexual harassment within management.
