Vast majority say companies should support the LGBTQ community

Americans who do not identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer support companies whose employment practices, advertising and sponsorships support the LGBTQ community, according to a survey of more than 2,500 adults surveyed as part of GLAAD’s annual “Accelerating Acceptance study.” “Anti-LGBTQ violence and hate should not be winning in America, but it will continue to until corporate leaders step up as heroes for their LGBTQ employees and consumers and do not cave to fringe activists calling for censorship,” said Sarah Kate Ellis, CEO of the gay rights organization.
