VillageMD, Walgreens' in-store clinic partner, may go public

VillageMD is planning an initial public offering. The company received a pledge last July of a $1 billion investment by Walgreens Boots Alliance. The two businesses are working together to open between 500 and 700 clinics staffed by doctors inside Walgreens' stores in 30 markets over the next five years.
