Waffle House Offering Delivery Services for the First Time Ever

April 4, 2025

Waffle House customers who want to get their delicious waffles and hash browns at home can now do so, as the popular casual dining chain has announced that it will be offering delivery services for the first time.

In a press release announcement, the company revealed that it now offers “Late Night Delivery” at select locations via Dispatch from Olo, a leading restaurant technology provider. This makes it “easier than ever to enjoy customer favorites like the Classic Waffle, scattered, smothered & covered hashbrowns, and the All-Star Special from the comfort of home.” In late 2023, Waffle House began accepting online orders and payments for pick-up through Olo.

“We are excited to offer our customers another ordering channel, with delivery, to enjoy Waffle House at night. We will continue to evaluate expanding delivery to more of our restaurants in the coming months,” said Patrick Marshburn, EVP of Waffle House, in a statement accompanying the press release. “We are going to bring the same commitment of providing great food and hospitality to delivery, ensuring guests can enjoy their Waffle House favorites wherever they are.”

Delivery via Olo’s Dispatch is now accessible at over 500 of the 2,000 sites in 25 states and will be expanded throughout the year.

Ordering delivery is easy — visitors head to the website or mobile app, enter their location, and place an order from a participating local store. Olo Dispatch selects the best available delivery service, ensuring that hot and fresh meals arrive swiftly and with a seamless and dependable experience.

Waffle House Still Has Egg Surcharges

Despite this new seamless experience, the casual dining chain is still experiencing inflation challenges. In February, it announced that it was implementing a 50-cent surcharge on all egg entrees.

“The continuing egg shortage caused by HPAI (bird flu) has caused a dramatic increase in egg prices,” Waffle House said in a statement to CNN at the time. “Customers and restaurants are being forced to make difficult decisions.”

“While we hope these price fluctuations will be short-lived we cannot predict how long this shortage will last,” the company said in a separate statement, according to AP News.

The egg surcharge, however, is still in effect as of this writing.
