Walgreens allies with benefits manager Prime Therapeutics

Prime Therapeutics, the country's fourth largest pharmaceutical benefits manager, is owned by 14 Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance companies. The new strategic alliance with Walgreens will be designed to combine the specialty and mail-order pharmacy businesses of both companies.
