Walgreens moves closer to selling Boots

Walgreens Boots Alliance has received a binding bid for its Boots business from Apollo Global Management and Reliance Industries. The company is looking to sell the UK-based pharmacy chain to concentrate on its U.S. pharmacies and primary care business.
