Walmart+ Week Returns for 2025: Here’s What To Know

April 8, 2025

Walmart has seen an impressive degree of success with its Walmart+ membership program, as CNBC reported. Those who belong to the program accounted for almost half of the total spend tied to the retailer’s website and app over the course of the prior fiscal year. What’s more, Walmart+ members spend nearly three times as much — and shop twice as often — as non-subscribing customers.

The above statistics may be the impetus, then, for the latest bit of news. Walmart announced via an April 8 press release that it would be bringing back Walmart+ Week, a sale and promotions period spanning April 28 through May 4.

As part of the exclusive rewards package available to Walmart+ subscribers, the blue-and-yellow brand is offering the following perks:

  • One free express delivery during the promotional period.
  • 50 cents discounted from every gallon of fuel purchased at participating Exxon and Mobil gas stations nationwide.
  • Up to two free sandwiches from Burger King daily (one Croissan’wich and one Whopper Jr.) with a purchase of $1 or more. Purchases must be at least one hour apart.
  • Six free months of Paramount+ with SHOWTIME add-on.
  • $5 in Walmart Cash with a $15 Scan-and-Go in-store order.
  • $10 in Walmart Cash for subscribers who take advantage of at least two Walmart+ Week offers.

Those who do not already subscribe to Walmart+ can enjoy a free 30-day trial.

“We recognize and appreciate the loyalty of our Walmart+ members,” said Seth Dallaire, EVP and chief growth officer of Walmart U.S.

“They continue to utilize and enjoy the diverse range of benefits available across multiple categories, such as streaming, travel and fast-food. Walmart+ Week celebrates this momentum by helping our members maximize their suite of benefits in a way only Walmart can, with the membership that pays for itself,” Dallaire added.

Walmart+ Week Introduces ‘Savings Whisperer’ Beck Bennett

Walmart is also leaning on a bit of star power to promote Walmart+ Week this year, hiring actor and comedian Beck Bennett to act as the retailer’s “Savings Whisperer.”

Bennett is slated to appear in a number of campaign spots underscoring particular savings opportunities throughout the promotional period.
