Walmart Is Now Carrying a Strawberry-Flavored Cinnamon Toast Crunch

January 21, 2025

Walmart is appealing to foodies all over the country with its recent announcement that it’s carrying a new, exclusive strawberry-flavored Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Strawberry is sure to delight fans of the original cereal. The brand’s bite-sized, crunchy squares are still present in the new flavor, but they now taste like strawberries.

According to Allrecipes, Walmart is anticipated to be the only retailer to carry family-sized Cinnamon Toast Crunch Strawberry boxes this month.

However, if it’s not yet available near you, try the Great Value Strawberry Shortcake Cereal, which is receiving great reviews and can act as a good substitute until you get your hands on a box of General Mills’ version.

The drop was recently published on Instagram by food insider @Cereallife, who cross-posted it with two other snack accounts. Fans responded to the post with a range of opinions.

Some felt like they might try it once, while others expected a desire to stock up. “I’m buying 10 boxes,” one comment read. Some fans worried that strawberry and cinnamon flavors won’t mix well, though others have already been enjoying the pairing for some time: “Y’all super late. I just put strawberry syrup in my milk and pour in the cereal!! Strawberry Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk is iconic!!”

Walmart Is America’s Primary Grocer But Ranks Last on Trust

The premiere of the new strawberry-flavored Cinnamon Toast Crunch may entice people to shop at their nearest Walmart. However, despite this news and the fact that the chain is America’s primary grocer, it ranked last in many categories with customers.

Walmart was the top grocery store among all competitors, surpassing Kroger, ALDI, Costco, and Publix in the top five, according to a Market Force survey that polled over 4,300 American consumers, as reported by Chain Store Age in late November 2024.

With so many locations in so many cities and towns from coast to coast, Walmart is undoubtedly a convenient and accessible option for most consumers. The blue-and-yellow brand is also known for its consistently low prices.

However, Walmart did not leave the survey with a perfect record. Some indicators from the study emerged as likely instigators, with 62% of those polled citing convenience as their primary motivating factor influencing their choice.

“While Walmart dominates the market, its success isn’t driven by customer satisfaction or trust — it ranks last in both measures. Instead, its expansive store network and unbeatable value offerings make it a go-to choice for budget-conscious families,” the Market Force press release stated.
