Walton Doesn't See Buying Power Advantage

S. Robson Walton, chairman of Wal-Mart, doesn't believe the company's buying power is as big a competitive advantage as others suggest. "We are no different from you when you are buying a car or an appliance," he said. "There are limits on what a supplier can do for us on price."
