Warby Parker and Allbirds show progress

Warby Parker's sales rose 12 percent year-over-year in the first quarter and the direct-to-consumer eyewear company cut its losses by $23 million to $11 million. Allbirds's sales fell 13 percent, which was better than the 28 percent decline that was expected.
