Weekly shopper traffic falls 27 percent as pandemic shuts down the UK

The number of shoppers that went to retail stores fell 27.1 percent across Britain last week, according to Springboard, as new rules were put in place by the government to try and stop the spread of the novel coronavirus in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
