Weis Markets reports big gain in same-store sales

Weis Markets reported a 14.8 percent gain in same-store sales during the third quarter as its online revenues jumped 160 percent. The grocer's net earnings per share during the quarter came in at $1.16, more than double the 53 cents gain the year before.
