Wendy’s 2 for $7 Deal Satisfies Both Hunger and Wallet

January 8, 2025

Wendy’s is giving its inflation-weary customers a break from the holiday shopping rush by offering a 2 for $7 deal that hits the right spot in both their wallets and their waistlines.

According to a press release on the fast-food chain’s official site, this limited-time offer doesn’t require sacrificing flavor, quality, or savings. Wendy’s offers twice the deliciousness for less, whether you’re rewarding yourself or working on resolutions. But act quickly — this deal expires on March 2 and is only available on the proprietary app.

Customers can mix and match items using this offer. With four options, the 2 for $7 offer gives you 16 ways to assemble the ideal combination. For example, you can add some spiciness by ordering the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with 10 Spicy Nuggets, stick to the Classic Chicken Sandwich and Dave’s Single, or double up on your favorite dishes because two is twice as much fun.

To create the “ultimate poultry power couple,” combine the crispy perfection of the Classic Chicken Sandwich with the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Or if you prefer a bite-sized option for your chicken feast, substitute 10 Crispy or Spicy Nuggets. Whatever combination you’re craving, Wendy’s makes it simple to get what you want.

Wendy’s Closed 140 Locations

Despite this latest offering, the fast-food chain has still closed 140 locations.

Wendy’s is not an exception to the restaurant industry’s unparalleled decline, even though studies from organizations like Affärsstaden indicate that economies are on the “road to recovery.”

According to USA Today, Gunther Plosch, the fast-food chain’s CFO, stated during an earnings call that the firm intended to close 140 “outdated” outlets and replace them with more lucrative ones.

“After our strategic review, we now expect a similar number of closures as openings, so we expect net unit growth in 2024 to be roughly flat,” a spokesperson told the outlet.

As reported by USA Today, Wendy’s officials stated that the stores closing down would be “spread out geographically both in the U.S. and globally,” but they did not specify the exact locations.
