Wendy's adds new menu item that resembles one that McDonald's ditched

Wendy's is adding a grilled chicken ranch wrap to its menu For $6.29. The item is very similar to the "Snack Wraps" that McDonald's discontinued. The items are similar but not the same, according to Wendy's CMO Carl Loredo. Wendy's uses grilled chicken instead of the crispy chicken used by its rival. Mr. Loredo says Wendy's customers want "lighter and more portable menu items."
