Wendy’s Officially Announces the Girl Scout Thin Mint Frosty, Available Beginning Feb. 21

The rumors about Wendy’s latest new Frosty flavor are true.

Rumors about a new Girl Scout Thin Mint Frosty first surfaced earlier this month, but now, USA Today has confirmed that the fast-food giant is teaming up with the Girl Scouts of the USA to release this new, limited-edition Frosty flavor, which will be made available starting Feb. 21.

The new sweet delicacy mixes the flavor profiles of two “iconic fan favorites” to create a delicious and minty treat.

“Plus, everyone knows Thin Mints are extra delicious when frozen (Girl Scout’s Honor), so Wendy’s is giving you another delicious way to experience the frozen flavor a Girl Scouts best-seller!” the company said in a news release, per USA Today. “Each bite pairs minty-chocolatey, crumbly, cookie butter texture with the cool, creamy Frosty.”

The flavor will be available as a swirl in a Chocolate or Vanilla Frosty. However, those who are in the mood for an additional sugar rush can buy Girl Scout cookies directly from Troop 6000, a troop specially designed to help the thousands of girls living in New York City shelters.

New Wendy’s Frosty Flavors Aren’t Unusual

Wendy’s isn’t afraid to introduce new Frosty flavors to its menu, such as the limited-edition SpongeBob SquarePants-inspired pineapple flavor. However, no flavors have had quite the impact as the Vanilla Frosty, which continues to be a popular flavor despite only being available for a limited period each time it returns to the menu.

The fan-favorite flavor will be available for a limited time. Fans can also receive a free Frosty every day in 2025 with a Frosty Key Tag, which will be available to purchase now until Feb. 15, 2025.

Wendy’s popular Frosty Key Tags cost $3 and include a year’s supply of Jr. Frosty treats for free (purchase required).
