Double the Flavor, Double the Good: Whataburger’s New Spicy Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Burger

October 2, 2024

Whataburger’s new limited-edition Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double is spicy good, and good for the community as well.

According to a press release, the sandwich combines double the beef than a usual burger. The Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double contains two 100% beef patties layered in Whataburger’s Jalapeño Ranch and Jalapeño Cream Cheese, topped with crispy, smoky bacon, aged cheddar, and jalapeño slices. These contents are securely nestled between two toasted 5-inch buns.

Whataburger Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Scott Hudler states, “Our new Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double is destined to become a quick classic with Guests who want to add just the right amount of spice to their lives. The smoky bacon strips and jalapeño slices deliver that crunch you crave while our Creamy Jalapeño Ranch adds a little more of that bold flavor Whataburger is known for. But it’s only here for a limited time, so get it while it’s hot.”

The Bacon Blaze Jalapeño Double can also be ordered in a Whataburger Jr. size. Customers can find either size in-store, at the drive-thru, online at whataburger.com, and on the Whataburger App for curbside pickup or delivery.

Ordering Whataburger’s Newest Offering Does Good as Well

Customers who order the new Bacon Blaze Jalapeno Double or any of their favorite Whataburger meals in the restaurant or at the drive-thru have the opportunity to round up their total to the nearest dollar to support a good cause until the end of October. The burger chain is partnering with the Gary Sinise Foundation to help veterans and first responders by contributing spare change toward the foundation.

The Gary Sinise Foundation helps veterans in many ways. Some of their programs include the R.I.S.E. (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) program, where the organization builds 100% mortgage-free, specially adapted smart homes for severely wounded heroes. The foundation also offers a Relief & Resiliency program to ensure veterans stay strong through hardships. There are also community outreach programs and those tailored to first responders.
