Whataburger’s New $5 Breakfast Deal Features Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit or Taquito

March 12, 2025

Whataburger aims to please fans of the orange-and-white brand with its latest menu offering. According to a March 11 press release shared to the fast-food chain’s website, early risers can treat themselves to a new $5 breakfast deal to satisfy their morning cravings.

Starting March 12, Whataburger will be offering the $5 Breakfast Whatadeal, with the option of selecting either the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit or Taquito (cheese optional) and a beverage of any size. When it comes to the drink selection, the fast-food chain indicated that guests could choose from orange juice, apple juice, hot or iced coffee, soda, or milk, making the decision difficult for those who enjoy more than one of the aforementioned beverages.

The deal will be available on menu boards across all locations and can be ordered between the hours of 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. You’d better move fast, though, because this limited-time offer expires on April 9.

“We know our guests love a great breakfast at a great price, and this deal brings together two of our most popular morning items at an unbeatable value,” said Scott Hudler, CMO at Whataburger.

“No matter how you start your day, we’ve got a breakfast combo that hits the spot,” he added.

Whataburger’s $5 Humor

On an Instagram post shared by Whataburger advertising the $5 Breakfast Whatadeal, the fast-food chain’s social media manager offered up a cheeky take on what, exactly, $5 might get you in today’s economy.

Some of the star selections? The amount you might tip at other burger joints, 1/12 of a tank of gas, or — humorously — a single egg.

The offer is available to claim through the Whataburger app, in the restaurant, or via the drive-thru. The company indicated that prices could vary in different markets, and that shakes were excluded from the deal. There are no restrictions on how many breakfast deals can be ordered by each customer during the promotional period.
