Will Microsoft follow its Surface Pro success with a reimagined desktop PC?

Microsoft has found itself in an unusual position of late: With the success of its Surface Pro laptop/tablet hybrid, the company is serving as inspiration for Apple and other manufacturers rather than being the one playing catch-up.
