Women pay a premium for consumer products vs. men

A new study issued by New York City’s Department of Consumer Affairs that surveyed 90 brands sold at two dozen different retailers in NYC (in-store and online) found that women-directed products were on average 7 percent higher in price than counterpart products marketed to men.
