Women who left jobs as the pandemic hit have gone back to work

Women were the hardest hit when jobs were lost early in the pandemic. That has changed, however, with women's participation in the world workforce up 3.4 percent since April 2020. Men's level of participation has increased by 2.1 percent since April 2020.
