Workers at 19 Amazon warehouses have tested positive for coronavirus

Amazon.com operates 519 fulfillment centers, delivery stations and warehouses around the U.S. To date, employees at 19 of those locations have tested positive for COVID-19. Yesterday, 15 workers employed at Amazon’s warehouse in Staten Island, NY walked off the job in protest over what they allege is a lack of action to protect their safety while working. More than 5,000 people work at the facility.
