Your Neighbors Might Soon Know When You Order Toilet Paper, Trash Bags, and Other Items From Amazon
August 14, 2023
Amazon is making changes to its packaging strategy, with approximately 11% of its deliveries now arriving without the company’s name-brand packaging, according to the Wall Street Journal. The move is part of Amazon’s efforts to reduce costs, address customer feedback, and minimize its environmental impact. However, this change could raise concerns, including privacy issues as items like toilet paper, baby wipes, and other products might arrive in their original packaging, potentially revealing personal purchases to neighbors, and also the risk of package theft.
