Zaxby’s Announces New Menu Items and Brings Back 4 Fan Favorites

Zaxby’s is getting into the holiday spirit with its new menu items. The chicken giant has also announced that it is bringing back four fan favorites. Let’s take a look at what we know about these new additions.

Zaxby’s Is Bringing Back Old Favorites & Adding New Ones

Allrecipes reports that the casual dining establishment is now providing Zax Packz meals to make it easier and faster to put dinner on the table. Each of the new Zax Packz dinners can feed four or more people and comes in two varieties with a range of sauces.

The Chicken Fingerz Zax Packz comes with two large Crinkle Fries, four slices of Texas toast, four dipping sauces, and 20 hand-breaded Chicken Fingerz.

The other choice is the Boneless Wings Zax Packz, which comes with a massive 30-count serving of boneless wings made entirely of white breast meat and dressed in your preferred sauce. Additionally, this version includes four slices of Texas toast, four dipping sauces, and two large Crinkle Fries.

“As we enter the time of year where get-togethers seem to pile up — whether it’s holiday parties, sports practices or family dinners — we know finding a quick meal that satisfies the cravings of everyone in your group can be difficult,” Patrick Schwing, Zaxby’s chief marketing and strategy officer, said in a press release statement, according to the outlet. “Zaxby’s Zax Packz is the perfect, easy-to-order solution with something everyone can enjoy.”

As a side dish, veggie egg rolls are now permanently back. Perfectly filled with shredded cabbage, carrots, and green onion, the two crispy egg rolls are hand-rolled in a wonton wrapper and served with a side of Zaxby’s Sweet & Spicy dipping sauce.

Mixed greens, tomatoes, blue cheese chunks, and fried onions for a crunchy texture make up the Blue Zalad, which is also back for good. Pick your favorite chicken and savor it all with a rich blue cheese dressing.

Another returning offering is the Asian Zensation Zalad. This Asian-inspired salad has a base of red cabbage, carrots, and fresh mixed greens that together provide a delightful crunch. To make their Zalad more appealing, diners can choose between marinated Grilled Chicken or Fried Chicken Fingerz. Housemade Asian slaw, crunchy wonton strips, and a honey-sesame teriyaki sauce top off the dish. Zaxby’s also offers a cool Citrus Vinaigrette, which is prepared with orange, pineapple, sesame, and ginger, to go with the salad.

Finally, the Fried Cheesecake Bites have made a comeback. Made from lightly battered and deep-fried cheesecake, these are perfect to finish any meal, especially when served with strawberry sauce to tie everything together.

Zaxby’s announced last month that its well-liked Asian Zensation Zalad would be back for a brief period at participating locations, though the company recently confirmed that the salad is now a permanent addition to the menu.

When combined with the Veggie Egg Roll, the Asian Zensation Zalad, which costs about $10.99, provides a tasty dinner choice. Although the availability of a Garden Version of the salad, which would be less expensive and would not include chicken, has not yet been revealed, the number of calories varies from 530 to 680, depending on the protein choice.

By bringing back this vibrant, flavorful salad, Zaxby’s is responding to changing consumer tastes as Asian influences continue to shape the culinary scene.
