Starbucks Adds Combo Meals to Its Menu
June 13, 2024
The coffee retailer is taking a significant step to make breakfast more affordable for its customers. In an effort to attract more diners, Starbucks has introduced combos in the form of a new “pairings menu.” This limited-time offer allows customers to pair a tall hot or iced tea or coffee with popular breakfast items for just $5 to $6. Although the variety is currently not extensive, Starbucks has still shown that the company is testing the viability of its first value-driven combo options.
Starbucks’ new pairings menu offers a variety of enticing combos designed to appeal to a wide range of tastes and preferences. Customers can choose from a selection of classic and beloved breakfast items to pair with their tall hot or iced tea or coffee. Options include the buttery and flaky butter croissant, which pairs perfectly with a steaming cup of coffee, or the hearty breakfast sandwich, ideal for those seeking a more substantial meal to start their day.
However, there are a few details customers need to be aware of. The offer is available only at participating stores, and it excludes delivery services, Starbucks Reserve coffees, and ready-to-drink beverages. Additionally, the promotion does not allow for substitutions, and customizations may incur extra costs. The combo price rises to $7 if you opt for the Double Smoked Bacon or Impossible breakfast sandwich. Taxes apply where applicable, and the deal cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
Product availability may vary by store, so customers might want to check with their local Starbucks for specific offerings.
Starbucks’ latest move demonstrates its commitment to offering value to customers during a time of economic uncertainty, aligning itself with broader industry trends — like McDonald’s recent $5 meal deal and Burger King’s similar combo — while maintaining its unique brand identity.
