Copies of George Orwell’s classic “1984” and “Animal Farm” novels as well as other works by the author are found all over Amazon.com. Many, according to a New York Times investigation, are counterfeits baring varying degrees of resemblance to the legitimately published books authored by Mr. Orwell.
