Target to increase hiring for the holidays

Target plans to hire more 125,000 seasonal workers for the upcoming holiday selling season, up about four percent over last year’s total. The retailer is increasing the number of seasonal workers in its 39 distribution centers from 7,500 last year to 8,000 in anticipation of higher online sales.
