EEOC: It’s ‘likely’ that Walmart discriminated against female workers

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) found that it was likely that Walmart discriminated against 178 female workers by paying them less than male counterparts or denying them promotions based on gender. Walmart has informed the EEOC that it is willing to engage with the women who filed a complaint against the company to address their grievances.
