Bankrupt Barneys moves closer to sale

Authentic Brands Group is moving closer to making a $270 million deal to acquire Barneys New York. As part of the deal, Authentic Brands will license Barneys’ name to Hudson’s Bay Co, the parent of Saks Fifth Avenue. Hudson’s Bay would operate the Barneys website and open Barneys shops inside its stores.
