News broke last Friday that the Pentagon is awarding Microsoft a $10 billion cloud computing contract, a project Amazon was also being considered for. Now the military-focused publication, Task & Purpose, has reported, based on an advance copy of a bio of former Defense Secretary James Mattis, that President Trump ordered the defense chief to “screw Amazon” out of the chance to vie for the contract.
