Gas pumps vulnerable to hackers, Visa warns

In a security alert issued this month, Visa reports that it has uncovered incidents in which a cyber-hacking group known as Fin8 has found a way to scrape credit card information from gas station POS networks. The vulnerability is related to older mag stripe card information. Many pumps are not yet updated with the apparently unaffected chip readers.
