Pharmaceutical companies raise Rx prices

Pharmaceutical companies put through price increases on a wide variety of prescription medicines to kick off the new year. The average price increase by drug manufacturers was 5.8 percent with Pfizer putting through the biggest increases at over nine percent on more than 40 products.
