Walmart puts Alphabot to work in first store

Walmart has deployed its Alphabot picking robot in a warehouse behind a supercenter in Salem, NH. The robot picks items ordered online from shelves in the warehouse and brings the items to a station to be bagged by staff. The robot can currently handle frozen, fresh and shelf-stable items, but can not pick fresh produce or other perishables.
