Current and former owners settle legal dispute over Sears bankruptcy

Transform Holdco, the new owner of Sears and Kmart, has agreed to pay Sears Holdings, the previous owner of the two retail chains, $18.3 million to settle a dispute between the two companies. Funds paid to Sears Holdings will go to creditors who were not fully repaid after the company filed for bankruptcy.
